This document is a practical starting point, not legal advice. FieLink must insert its registered business details and obtain review from a qualified Ghanaian lawyer before public launch.
1. About FieLink
FieLink is an online marketplace that helps property seekers discover listings and contact owners or authorised representatives. FieLink is not the landlord, seller, estate agent, lawyer, surveyor, lender or payment provider in a transaction unless expressly stated in writing.
2. Accepting these terms
By using FieLink, creating an account, submitting a listing or sending an enquiry, you agree to these terms and the related Privacy Notice, Listing Rules and safety guidance. Users must have legal capacity to enter this agreement.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, protect access to your account and notify FieLink promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
4. Listings and user content
Owners and agents remain responsible for the accuracy, legality and currency of their listings. They must have authority to advertise every property. Submitting content gives FieLink permission to host, format and display it for operating and promoting the marketplace. Ownership of the original content remains with its lawful owner.
5. Review and verification
Listing review is a moderation check and is not a guarantee of ownership, condition, availability, price or legal title. Specific verification badges apply only to the checks stated beside them. Users must conduct their own inspections and independent legal and professional checks.
6. Enquiries and transactions
FieLink may share an enquirer’s submitted contact details with the relevant property owner or authorised representative. FieLink does not currently collect rent, deposits or purchase money. Users should inspect properties, confirm identity and authority, verify documents independently, use traceable payments and obtain signed agreements and receipts.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not post false or unlawful content, impersonate others, advertise without authority, discriminate unlawfully, harass users, scrape the service, introduce malicious code, evade safety controls or use FieLink for fraud or money laundering.
8. Enforcement
FieLink may request evidence, reject or remove content, restrict accounts, preserve relevant records and cooperate with lawful authorities where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms or comply with Ghanaian law.
9. Availability and liability
FieLink is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by Ghanaian law, FieLink does not guarantee uninterrupted access or the outcome of any property transaction. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes and governing law
Material changes will be communicated appropriately. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. The final document must specify the responsible FieLink legal entity, notice address and dispute process before launch.
